EDN members can take part in the network’s staff exchange programme; for a change of scene, peer-to-peer learning, an informal insight into production and artistic processes, a new know-how and knowledge.
Meet your peers!
We want you to meet your peers; to share informally yet in a structured way about your work, your challenges and your inspirations. These journeys are not about hierarchy, but about exchange among like-minded and different-minded people to learn from each other and build a new know-how that you can later use in your home organisations.
Do you work in the technical department and want to see what the technical production process looks like in another dancehouse? Are you a programmer and want to exchange thoughts about curatorial principles? Or would you like to know how other organisations deal creatively with finances? Are you struggling with challenges in your department that you could see from a new perspective by sharing with a colleague?
If you can answer in the affirmative, or if you can think of other questions you'd like to ask, then this is for you!
How does it work?
EDN will cover the costs of 6 overnight stays - up to the eligible EU rate, and per diems of 30€ per day as well as a flat travel allowance of 600€ for 10 EDN members. The participation fee is 300€ and will be charged to your organisation.
All EDN professionals are eligible for the placement: communication managers learning how others reach out to their local audiences, artistic directors exchanging on curatorial principles, producers learning from other contexts and techniques…
