New Balkan Contemporary Dance Platform

Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Platform is a new, dynamic collaboration among dance professionals across the Balkans. The platform's mission is to elevate contemporary dance in the region and position it competitively within Europe.
Initiated by a regional network of partners, the platform showcases exciting new works and facilitates artist mobility, workshops, co-creation, and capacity-building activities to empower dance professionals across the region and raise awareness of the vibrant dance scene in the Balkans.
Moving Balkans Showcase
Moving Balkans will present existing choreographic works addressing the social, artistic and environmental issues of our time, produced in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, or Türkiye.
The 1st edition of the Moving Balkans - Contemporary Dance Showcase will be held in Ljubljana (Slovenia), Rijeka (Croatia) and Zagreb (Croatia) between 10 and 13 May 2025 for the general public and the international community of contemporary dance professionals.
