The-hundred-box

The Hundred

Short description:

The Hundred is an attempt to capture the big picture of the European Dance Resources available and distil it in a hundred (including spaces, festivals and organizations). It will act as a guiding framework for artists and professionals, helping them to make connections with each other.

The methodology is participative: some workshops will be organised within the context of dance festivals and/or gatherings with the participation of a variety of professionals in order to have different points of view and sources of knowledge. The list of contacts and information gathered in each workshop will be subsequently analysed for inclusion in the final document.

Dance-Connect

Dance Connect 2015

Short description:

A selection of artists is offered an artistic and technical residency together with a meet and greet with the European local contexts including the visit to some festivals and encounters with local artists, workshops, amongst others.

The selected artists to participate in Dance Connect are Hemabharathy Palani with the piece Twine, Prassana Saika with Diabolique and Surjit Nongmeikapan with Nerves. This selection was done during the EDN Outreach to Bangalore (Attakkalari Biennial), a visit that offered the opportunity to meet the creators in their local context.

Communicating Dance supported young choreographers and writers and journalists in the field of contemporary dance as future leaders in the professional dance sector. It was focussed on raising the level of competence of the participants in the areas of responsibility for and participation in interdisciplinary and transnational teams, funding, communication, distribution and career planning at European level.
