European Commission launches 2 consultations to cultural sector

The European Commission has launched a consultation to collect feedback from stakeholders on the future of the Creative Europe Programme, with a view to designing a potential successor programme. The aim is to identify the relevance of the programme’s objectives, the effectiveness of the measures taken, the efficiency of the programme implementation and the programme’s added value.

The period of consultation finishes on 16th April 2017.

On the other hand, the Commission is also inviting networks and other stakeholders working on cultural heritage to apply to participate to the consultation “Voices of Culture and Heritage“. Coinciding with the celebration of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage, that will promote heritage as a shared resource for the future, a group of 30 participants will be identified to take part in a series of meetings and a database will be created. Applicants must be based in one of the 28 Member States.

The deadline for aplications is 20 February.
