Call for aids for Ibero-American creation process residencies

The Latin American fund Iberescena launches a call that is meant to support performing arts creation processes in residency.

There will be elegible those projects of performing arts creation processes in residence, carried out by creators belonging to any Iberescena Program member countries, whether through nationality or legal residency. Said creator will have to carry out his or her residency in any country in the world other than that where he or she resides.

Projects must be presented directly by the creator the entity requesting the Antenna from each country where the creator may reside, complying strictly with the established deadlines. The maximum amount of said aid will be 6,000 Euros.

The next call will be open in January 2016 to developed project .Financial aid will be granted to projects carried out between January 1 and December 31, 2017.

The Latin American fund Iberescena was created in November 2006 following the decision of the Latin American Congress of Heads of States and Governments in Montevideo (Uruguay) to create a program for the support, exchange and integration of Latin American performing arts activities. Iberescena aims to promote the creation of an integrated space for performing arts in its Member States, through funding and financial support.

The Iberescena fund is currently ratified by 13 countries which support it financially: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, as well as by the Ibero-American General Counsel.
